La actriz canadiense Lois Maxwell, quien interpretó a la señorita Moneypenny en la saga de películas de James Bond, falleció en Australia a los 80 años. Interpretó el rol de la secretaria de M en 14 films, desde “El Satánico Dr. No” (Dr. No, 1962) hasta “007 En La Mira De Los Asesinos” (A View to a Kill, 1985). Debutó en el cine en el gran melodrama fantástico “Escalera al Cielo” (A Matter of Life and Death, 1946), continuando con producciones en Gran Bretaña y Estados Unidos, incluyendo la obra maestra del terror “La Casa Embrujada” (The Haunting, 1963), “Lolita” (1962), la no obra maestra del terror “Cara de Fuego” (Face of Fire, 1959), “Satellite in the Sky” (1956) y su último largometraje, “The Fourth Angel” (2001).
